Burn a Static Title or Hook Overlay Onto Each Clip
Stamp a highlight-level caption β the clip's Title or its Hook text β onto every clip in a video list. Unlike word-synced subtitles that follow speech, this is a single overlay that stays on screen to tell the viewer what this clip is about or why they should keep watching. Six named look presets, three vertical positions, and full custom control over font size and line wrap. Perfect for title-card intros, "wait for it..." hooks, and editorial highlight reels.

Video Caption reads the LLM-generated metadata from each clip's Video Analysis JSON and burns one field β either the Title or the Hook β onto the clip as a static caption overlay. The text sits at the top, center, or bottom of the frame; you pick a look preset (or go Custom to tune size and wrap manually), and the tool renders the caption directly into the video pixels of every clip in the input list. The output is a batch of captioned clips ready for downstream editing and publishing.

Which carried text to burn on each clip: Which field from the clip's metadata to display as the caption.
| Option | What it renders | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Title (default) | The clip's descriptive title from Video Analysis (e.g., "We Have Discovered New Land!") | Editorial title cards; "this clip is aboutβ¦" framing |
| Hook | The clip's hook text from Video Analysis (e.g., "This is Chunland!") | "Wait for itβ¦" style teasers; retention-focused overlays |
Where the caption sits on the clip: Vertical position of the overlay. Tip: If you're stacking Video Caption with Video Subtitle (Spoken), put Video Caption at Top and Video Subtitle at Bottom β the two overlays occupy different zones and don't collide.
| Option | Placement | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Top (default) | Top third of the frame | Title-card intros; leaves the bottom clear for Video Subtitle (Spoken) |
| Center | Vertically centered | Hero-style attention-grab overlays |
| Bottom | Bottom third of the frame | Lower-third caption style (when top area is used for something else) |

| Custom (default) | Uses the individual style options (font size, wrap, etc.) β full manual control | When no preset fits and you want to tune every knob |

| Bold | Heavy weight, strong outline | High-motion or busy backgrounds where clarity matters |
