Evaluate Video Outputs from Multiple Models / Pipelines Side-by-Side
Load up to 4 videos and play them in a synchronized 2 × 2 grid for side-by-side visual comparison. Perfect for evaluating outputs from different video models (SparkVSR vs. SeedVR2, Helios-Base vs. Helios-Distilled), A/B-testing pipeline variants (Fit + Blur vs. Subject-Aware reframing, different Video Speed factors, alternate Hook Teaser cuts), or reviewing before / after processing on the same source. The visual companion to Image Compare and Text Compare.

What it does
Video Compare displays up to 4 videos in a 2 × 2 grid view, each in its own playable pane. Feed it up to four different video outputs — from different models, different pipeline branches, or different parameter settings — and you can watch them all in one panel. Essential for judging visual differences that only reveal themselves in motion: upscaling artifacts, subject tracking accuracy, reframe cropping choices, subtitle placement, motion smoothness after retiming, etc.
Problem it solves
- Compare video model outputs – Watch results from different video AI models (SparkVSR vs. SeedVR2 vs. FlashVSR) side-by-side to pick the best for your source
- A/B test pipeline settings – Run the same clip through two different Video Reframe strategies (Fit + Blur vs. Crop to Fill vs. Subject-Aware) and see them together
- Evaluate Video Speed factors – Compare 1.0× / 1.25× / 1.5× / 2.0× retimes of the same clip in one grid
- Review reframe / subtitle variations – Different Video Subtitle look presets, different Video Caption positions, different Hook Teaser lengths
- Before / after inspection – Original clip vs. denoised / upscaled / restored version to see the improvement in motion
- Batch QA at a glance – Pull four different clips from a Video Trim batch (via Video List Extract at different indices) and preview them together
- Multi-variant selection – Generate 4 different video outputs and pick the winner visually
- Team review – One panel with all candidates makes creative-review meetings faster
Input/Output
<aside>
- Input: Up to 4 videos
- Source: Any video-producing upstream node — video generation (Helios, Cosmos3, Wan2.2), video super-resolution (SparkVSR, SeedVR2, FlashVSR), Video Trim / Video Reframe / Video Subtitle outputs, or uploaded videos
- Format: Standard video formats
- Connection: Connect each video source to one of the 4 input ports on the left side of the node
- Empty ports: Unconnected panes remain empty (the grid still lays out 2 × 2)

- Output: Synchronized 2 × 2 grid view
- Layout: Four playable panes, top-left / top-right / bottom-left / bottom-right
- Playback: Each pane can be played individually; use the panel to compare visual quality, motion, subject tracking, or any other visual property
- Interaction: Watch, pause, scrub through panes side-by-side

Features
- Multi-Video Display:
- Load up to 4 videos – Original + 3 variants, or 4 model outputs, or any combination
- 2 × 2 grid layout – All videos visible at once, each in its own pane
- Play buttons – Each pane has its own play control for individual playback
- Typical Sources:
- Video generation – Helios-Base, Helios-Distilled, Cosmos3 Nano, Wan2.2 TI2V 5B outputs
- Video super-resolution – SparkVSR, SeedVR2 (3B / 7B), FlashVSR outputs
- Video segmentation – SAM3.1 (Video) results
- Pipeline stages – Same clip after Video Trim → Remove Dead Zone → Video Reframe → Video Subtitle (at different stages of the pipeline)
- Pipeline variants – Same source with different Video Reframe strategies, different Video Speed factors, different Hook Teaser lengths, etc.
